Secondary packaging? In house
System Packaging presents Freebox™, the new process devised by the packaging division of System SpA to create customised packs in real time, for all types of product, starting from flat neutral board and without any waste of raw material.
Freebox™ is dedicated to product secondary packaging. The first innovatory aspect is in the elimination of blank storage with the immediate recovery of the area used for the same: square meters of warehouses that the company can re-allocate to production activities, enabling benefits in terms of increased overall efficiency.
Freebox™ produces the required boxes using the most common flat corrugates produced directly by the papermills in the 1.200X1.200 mm format, in colors light brown or white.
Hence no more pre-assembled RSE boxes, the relative equipment (plates, cutters, saws) and the box factory production phase also disappear: customized and personalized, the container for distributing the goods is made directly in the machine. The implementation of Freebox eliminates a series of set phases, expensive in environmental and production terms, but a must for packaging manufacturers, ie. requests to casemakers for blanks of various sizes, the transit from the printer, the transport of the blanks and storage of the same. With Freebox™ by System Packaging the construction of the carton in all its phases, including the 4 color process printing of the graphics, takes place on the customer’s premises: from goods production to that of transport packaging.
The Freebox™ system is particularly beneficial for e-commerce, where the optimization of shipping costs is closely related to the volume of the products packed.
