Servomotor kits
Parker Hannifin servomotor kits make it possible to build more compact systems with enhanced precision, reliability and robustness.
Traditionally, building a machine begins with definition of the system’s functions, before one decides which drive system is most appropriate. This stage often requires modifying the mechanical system with the addition of couplers, reduction gears, flanges, etc. Such modifications can be avoided by employing the motor kits offered by Parker, with consultations identifying the most appropriate primary components (rotor and stator) in order to lower the machine’s overall complexity.
There are many advantages to this system compared to traditional technology:
- optimized energy consumption because couplers and electromechanical coupling components (pulleys, belts, reducers, etc.) are no longer necessary;
- reduced bulk and weight;
- single solution thanks to mechanical and electrical elements adjusted to application requirements;
- quiet running, especially when the user opts for a water cooling system.
Parker’s experience and knowhow in the design, production and integration of servomotor kits means the firm is also able to offer other high speed solutions, thanks to HKW and SKW motors, as well as the high torque line TKW.
Fly cutting with PAC and PSD servo-drives. F.in.e.co Srl (a distributor of Parker electro-mechanical and pneumatic solutions for Milan and surrounding areas) is appearing at SPS Italia (Pav. 5, stand G071) with a fly cutting system that uses a Parker Automation Controller (PAC) for axes control, as well as PSD compact servo-drives, which can control up to 5 motors with just a single 5 cm module.
