Stäubli TP80, the new fast picker robot
Italian market preview at Ipack-Ima for the next generation of Stäubli high speed robots, setting the standard for all pick & place operations.
Stäubli Robotics (Ipack Ima, Hall 9, Stand A99) will be presenting, for the first time the Italian market, the new TP80 Fast Picker 4-axis ultrafast and ultra-accurate robot, designed specifically for all pick and place applications. This new range of robot reaches very high speeds, up to 200 strokes/min operating continuously, handling loads of 1 kg.
Stäubli has long set the standard for robotics and its solutions are characterized by speed, accuracy and reliability, ensuring users the highest possible throughput with shorter cycle times.
Details - This new robot is the latest innovation, that combines agility, lightness and sturdiness. It achieves an extremely high throughput with repeatability less than ± 0.05 mm, which it maintains throughout its entire “work envelope” of 1,600 mm in diameter. The arm wall mounting eliminates the need for expensive and bulky gantries required for all robots with parallel architecture. The TP80 is therefore easy to install on lightweight structures, thus providing a substantial reduction in integration costs.
The robot TP80 forearm is extremely slim, intentionally designed to facilitate access to confined spaces such as machine interiors. The electrical and pneumatic user lines are incorporated and protected within the arm and available on the forearm at the tool flange. The standard version of the TP80 robot has IP54 grade protection, but is also available with IP65 grade protection, requiring the installation of optional protection and bellows. Two solenoid valves can also be directly integrated into the arm.
Fast Picker TP80 is the ideal robot for a variety of tasks that traditionally require robots with parallel architecture; it perfectly suits the needs of the photovoltaic-, pharmaceutical-, food-, consumer goods-, electronics and automotive industries. Its specific applications cover packaging, handling, assembly and machine servicing.
The new Picker TP robot family ideally complements the existing range of 6-axis TX and SCARA TS robots. Stäubli offers a complete line of standard small, medium and large sized 4 to 6 axial robots designed and manufactured in Europe. Its comprehensive product range, truly unique to the market, is rounded off with lines "dedicated" to particular sectors (plastics, machine tools, pharmaceuticals, food, semiconductor and photovoltaics) and various applications (machining, lacquering, etc...).
