Tension controls for light materials
Re SpA Controlli Industriali (Bussero, MI) has developed an innovative tension control system called T-four, that is capable of precisely adjusting the tension of increasingly light materials, even at high speeds, both in closed and in open loop systems.
The solution’s basic characteristics, shared by all tension systems designed and built by Re SpA, are the extreme ease of use fostered by a simple and intuitive interface, as well as compactness and the flexibility of its software.
T-four is the latest addition to the wide range of tension controls created by Re for every need, including with open loop, with diameter or position sensors, and closed loop, with load cells or rollers. Over the course of more than 35 years’ experience in converting paper and board, aluminium, threads and fabrics, the Lombard concern has served thousands of applications with systems that reflect the most cutting-edge technology - from the first analogic controls in rack 70.01 to the MW.90 series with more than 5000 units installed worldwide, to the recent T-One controller, with hundreds of pieces already operational - and a series of integrated solutions that enable meeting all requirements and user requests. Its offer supports processes working with materials in reels which require accurate tension control and belt alignment and includes brakes and clutches, air expanding shafts and supports, expandable chucks, tension controllers, belt guide systems, load cells and videocameras. Re SpA is now a multinational with affiliates in China, India and Brazil, and a commercial and assistance network that covers 30 countries worldwide.
