Quadpack makes second acquisition in Germany
The Catalan group Quadpack has followed up its recent acquisition of the cosmetics division of Inotech with the takeover of the German cosmetics packaging company Louvrette, an operation that positions the group as one of the top ten European cosmetic packaging providers.
Specialising in thick-walled injection moulding, Louvrette has an 8,500 m2 manufacturing facility with 180 employees and 40 production lines, and produces a range of more than 100 innovative and sustainable products.
The two companies, described as “kindred spirits” by Quadpack’s chief executive and co-founder Tim Eaves, will work together on R&D to achieve genuine innovation.
Founded in 2003 in Barcelona where it has its headquarters and laboratories, Quadpack has doubled its revenues in the last four years to reach a 2018 turnover of €105 million. Following the acquisition of Louvrette, the group expects to reach revenues of €130 million in 2019.
