Intelligo: smart RFID packaging and eco-friendly
Green Tag RFID and corrugated cardboard packaging: a winning combination for all companies that wish to achieve the three e’s: efficiency, economy and ecology.
The company offering a “green economy” solution is Schiassi, the historic box factory based in Villanova di Castenaso (BO), which has chosen as partner Tenenga, the system integrator based in Castel Maggiore (BO), whose specialists have been dealing with Auto-ID and IoT systems for over 30 years.
Established thanks to a collaboration that focuses on innovation, the ecofriendly solution in question is called Intelligo, in which the innovative packaging design is enhanced by the Green Tags proposed by Tenenga, whose antenna is not in aluminium but a special ink printed on a layer of paper, meaning that a PET layer is not needed, thereby guaranteeing a totally and authentically sustainable 4.0 packaging.
Intelligo simplifies the handling and filing processes of documents and goods, combining speed together with a reduction of errors and the carbon footprint.
In addition, there’s the versatility and characteristics of corrugated cardboard, with which the different types of packaging are made, from intelligent folders to pallets: an extremely robust material, totally non-toxic and biodegradable; it’s also light and takes up little space when not assembled.
