A (small) ecological solution
Verimec - which has been operating since 1985 as a subsidiary of the Massilly Group, European leader in the packaging and tinplate twist off caps sector - takes measures at corporate level in line with European directives setting out objectives for the reduction of packaging waste and the optimisation of the recycling cycle.
The Massilly Group, always attentive to environmental questions, has, therefore, made a choice that involves logistics and transport operations for its packaging. In practice, it has replaced the use of plastic adhesive tape (white in the photos) with another type in paper (dark brown in the photos).
In this way, it’s possible to completely recycle the external packaging in the paper flow. It’s an initiative that falls under those “small steps” that are, however, useful for making the planet more liveable and less polluted.
