Altivar awarded at Climate Week

At the 2022 edition of Climate Week in New York, Schneider Electric’s Altivar inverters received the prestigious “Most Climate-Positive Carbon Handprint Product Award” for their ability to reduce the climate impact of industrial processes.

The systems are, in fact, able to effectively manage motor applications reducing energy consumption in production by up to 30%. Based on a rigorous analysis methodology, it has been calculated that in the 2018-2021 three-year period, the speed variators may have saved over 140 million tonnes of CO2 emissions during their useful life-cycle.
