Increasingly compact brushless motors

The multinational Oriental Motor extends its range of brushless motors with the new BLV-R Series: composed of motors and drivers, it’s available in 60, 100, 200 and 400 W powers.

The extremely compact drivers weigh only 120 g and are compatible with Modbus (RTU) and CANopen communication protocols, therefore making it possible to reduce cabling, further simplifying applications. Thanks to their technical characteristics, they are ideal for being used on automatic guided vehicles (AGVs).

The BLV-R Series motors are available with parallel gearboxes, flat gearbox with hollow shaft or smooth shaft without gearbox, with electromagnetic brake. The models with a hollow shaft flat gearbox contribute significantly to containing overall dimensions, given that assembly can be carried out directly, without the need for connecting joints. The new series has various functions for adaptation to different applications, such as torque limitation, which prevents the motor from blocking due to overload, and the function for maintaining the load with the engine stopped, also without the electromagnetic brake.
