Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026 closes with outstanding results

The 57th edition, marked by strong international attendance, confirmed the event’s strategic role for the global cosmetics industry, even in a complex international context

The 57th edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna has successfully concluded, once again confirming its role as a key event for the global cosmetics industry. With over 255,000 professionals from more than 150 countries and 3,104 companies from 68 countries, representing more than 10,000 brands, the exhibition achieved extremely positive results, highlighting the strength and resilience of the beauty sector.

For four days, Bologna became an international hub for the beauty industry, welcoming a highly qualified global community of buyers, distributors, retailers, and professional operators. The quality of attendees, combined with strong international participation, confirmed the effectiveness of incoming programs and matchmaking tools, fostering targeted meetings and concrete business opportunities across the entire supply chain

A high-value edition

Cosmoprof continues to represent a key platform for the sector, promoting connections, business opportunities, and growth in global markets, while actively contributing to the development and strengthening of the entire cosmetics supply chain.

The beauty sector continues to demonstrate extraordinary resilience, even in a complex and constantly evolving geopolitical context, confirming its global strength and dynamism - said Enrico Zannini, General Manager of BolognaFiere Cosmoprof - In this scenario, Cosmoprof once again proves to be a privileged observatory of industry transformations: an increasingly international exhibition, capable of attracting highly qualified visitors and significant participation from key global markets. The results of this edition highlight how the cosmetics industry can promptly respond to challenges, maintaining high levels of innovation, competitiveness, and networking capacity. This is a trend we already observed during the Covid period and which is now further confirmed: even in the most complex times, the beauty sector stands out for its resilience and international vocation.

The support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Italian Trade Agency (ICE) was also fundamental for the 2026 edition, contributing to the presence of highly profiled buyer delegations from key markets and further strengthening the international positioning of the exhibition.

Collaboration with Cosmetica Italia also continued, enhancing the excellence of the Italian supply chain in an increasingly competitive global context.

Education, shows and innovation

The rich program of content across the four-day event also attracted strong participation. International experts, opinion leaders, media representatives, and content creators from around the world took part in a comprehensive schedule of round tables, masterclasses, training sessions, and shows, offering visitors a complete and immersive experience in the beauty industry. Cosmoprof confirmed its role not only as a business platform, but also as a key hub for discussion and professional development, capable of anticipating market evolution and connecting all stakeholders across the supply chain. Innovation, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and new consumer habits emerged as key topics, outlining the future development directions of the industry.

The next edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will take place from March 18 to 21, 2027, with new initiatives and solutions increasingly focused on supporting the evolution of the global cosmetics industry.
