Shortly after being elected President of Giflex, Neni Rossini announced the composition of the team that will support her throughout her term of office. The new governance structure is characterised by continuity, supply chain representation and a European vision.

At a crucial phase for the sector, which is facing the implementation of the new European regulatory framework on packaging and the challenges of the sustainable transition, the re-elected association governing body reaffirms its objective of strengthening Giflex’s role as an authoritative voice with institutions, both in Italy and in Brussels, whilst promoting the competitiveness of its member companies and the value of flexible packaging within the circular economy.

The new Executive Committee is composed as follows:

Past President: Alberto Palaveri (Sacchital Group), Vice-President of Assografici, in his role at Giflex with responsibility for strengthening institutional dialogue at national level and political representation, building on the work carried out during his term as President.

Treasurer: Elena Peron (Amcor Flexibles Italia).

Members of the Executive Committee: Elisabetta Boriani (Lavorazione Carte Speciali); Ruggero Gerosa (Gerosa Group); Marco Mensitieri (Icimendue); Luca Santandrea (Masterpack); Lara Selvi (Saica Flex Italia); Stefano Trombetta (Goglio); Giselda Virno (Di Mauro Officine Grafiche).

“The new governance structure has been established with the aim of making the most of the expertise within the Association and tackling the challenges facing our sector with a team spirit”, says President Neni Rossini. “In a landscape characterised by significant regulatory developments, particularly those arising from the new European packaging regulatory framework, Giflex will continue to be an authoritative voice for institutions and a point of reference for its member companies, promoting the value of flexible packaging as a driver of innovation, sustainability and competitiveness”.
