Cosmoprof/Cosmopack 2018

The 51st edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna closes with a surprising result, as stated by Gianpiero Calzolari, President of BolognaFiere, exceeding the ceiling of 250,000 visitors registered in 2017 (with a + 11% in presences of foreign operators). Record number also for exhibitors, 2,822, from 70 countries, which attracted an international audience, eager to do business but also to carry out professional updating.

Overall the event has grown by 7.5%, confirming the role of leading event in a global network that spreads the excellence of the sector and a first-rate industrial chain worldwide.
The B2B vocation of Cosmoprof was further consolidated, in the relationship between buyers and exhibitors, in the articulated professional updating program (with 18 highly participated workshops), with awards going to the most innovative companies and the Career Award assigned to Jean-Claude Ellena , famous “nose” of the Maison Hermes, that has drawn new attention to high-end perfumery, present this year at Cosmoprof with a special dedicated section.
A lot of interest was registered by Cosmopack’s Powderful Factory, the sixth itinerary in the heart of development and production, where this year a line dedicated to an all-in-one luxury make-up product was replicated live, with the staging of the creative process as well as the subsequent shopping experience.
And finally... we also cite the Cosmopack Awards (evolution of the “The Wall” award), assigned during a suggestive and well orchestrated ceremony to the solutions deemed most innovative by a prestigious international jury. At the left, the winners.
