Automatic machinery for aseptic lines

A renewed line of machines for continuous aseptic packaging: Omas Tecnosistemi consolidates its presence in the pharmaceutical sector and proposes a complete and state-of-the-art line that guarantees total decontamination of microorganisms and endotoxins.

The line comprises a GRW flacon-washing machine, a sterilization and depyrogenation tunnel, a filling monoblock (continuous or alternating step) and stoppering and capping systems for liquid and powder products. The process is fast, flexible and efficient, and takes less than 30 minutes.

From washing to heat sterilization The GRW flacon-washer has been designed according to GMP guidelines: all parts in contact with the product are made from 316L stainless steel, while the frame is 304 stainless steel. The hygienic connectors and tubing are electropolished. Filter water recycling minimizes waste and intermittent spraying further reduces the amount of water used (max 3 l/min). The non-penetrating nozzles prevent the glass from breaking, while the Omas washers have just one moving part in the washing chamber, making the PLC-controlled format changeover quick and easy as well.
Following post-wash automatic discharge, the system, adjusted by servo-motors, feeds the products directly into the hot air depirogenation tunnel, which consists in three chambers (pre-heating, sterilization, cooling), all separated by gates. Each chamber of the tunnel performs DOP testing of the number of particles and the Hepa filters.
Finally, the dosing - stoppering - capping line is capable of processing liquid or powder products, depending on need.
Omas is planning further investments in aseptic packaging: by 2015 the concern will have expanded by 4000 m2 the production surface of the
production surface of its Cerro Maggiore facility (bringing it to a total of 10,000 m2), in order to guarantee an ever wider and more qualified offer.
