Ars and Adept together on the global market

The innovative flexible parts feed system developed by Ars Srl under the Flexibowl® brand will be distributed on foreign markets by Adept Technology Inc., an international leader in the field of robots and vision systems.

The deal will help drive the spread of Flexibowl, especially in northern Europe, the United States, Korea and Singapore, where Adept has long since consolidated itself as the go-to supplier of flexible solutions for precision assembly.
This partnership values the Ars market approach: the Arezzo-based concern has been operating for twenty years as a supplier of robots and flexible solutions for assembly, manipulation and packaging in the food sector, not only as a distributor of quality products, but also as a partner for researching and developing better solutions for each applicational requirement. Flexibowl, for example, is the outcome of the efforts of Ars R&D, which for the development of this solution benefited from an important contribution by the Region of Tuscany in the form of POR CREO 2007 - 2013 funds for SMFs.

Flexibowl is capable of feeding a wide variety of loose parts, and can be combined with any type of industrial robot or vision system. Its high versatility is due first of all to its ability to feed items made from different materials without any complications, whether fragile or silicone rubber, as well as cylindrical objects, with lubricated surfaces and even those which tend to get tangled up. This system, furthermore, can pick up moving parts, not to mention perform circular tracking, guaranteeing higher productivity. Worth note, lastly, are two other indispensable characteristics: simple and reliable construction and a low level of noise.
