Hall 5 - E37 | Thera thermoforming machines: a single machine for different uses

Protagonists at the Coligroup stand at Interpack 2023 will be the “Thera” thermoforming machines, as well as the latest sustainability-themed innovations.

Investing in a single machine, the THERA650 WEBSKIN/WEBMAP line makes it possible to use different eco-sustainable materials, such as paper, cardboard and mono-materials, and to make packages with different technologies (skin packaging, Controlled Atmosphere Packaging and vacuum-packaging). Specifically, WEBMAP is a new solution for the packaging of cold meats, in a sustainable package that enables a long shelf-life and keeps the organoleptic and nutritional characteristics of the foods intact. The package uses a very high-quality cardboard base with a percentage of plastic lower than 10% and is therefore totally recyclable with paper; the top is removeable and can be inserted into the plastic recovery and reuse circuit.

The package, with printed and customizable graphics, is made starting from the coil, thereby eliminating the cost of storing and managing pre-cut pieces.
