An evolved robot

For the industrial concerns that demand maximum flexibility in terms of logistics and warehouse management, Robopac offers the new Robot S6.

In the field of self-propelled packaging machines, the S6 Robot is enjoying a lot of success thanks to the technological innovations introduced, centring on simplicity of use and safety, the Robopac trademark is in this case guaranteed by the dual-layer hood and reinforced emergency bumpers.

Designed and produced according to criteria of reliability and durability, the machine is made with the best raw materials and every detail is the result of hi-tech solutions and processes. The new steel-frame shaft for example is the result of years of testing on turntables as well as being a perfect guide for the new stretch film processing and support carriages. The streamlined design in sturdy bent sheet metal is the ideal housing for the new 7" color touch screen with icons specifically designed by Robopac for simple and intuitive operations. Accurate and contextualised controls are displayed on every screen. Robopac's successful idea for this innovative man-machine interface was to only provide the operator with strictly necessary information while still providing full operability aimed to create the best and safest packaging results. Up to 6 programs can be saved on the Robot S6 touchscreen to guarantee optimised packaging for each product type, in the event - evermore frequent - of the need for speedy production changes. The USB ports on the panel are essential for easy software upgrades and post sales data downloads.

The dual-drive PVS carriage has been introduced for the first time to guarantee accurate and linear stretch film pre-stretch of up to 300%.
Lastly, in terms of ergonomy and energy saving, the system offers fast access to the switchboard using the two handles on the upper guard, a new patented manual Robot manageable guide system, implementation with the idle handling system for Robot without batteries.
Robot S6 packages about 250 Euro pallets with only a 10-hour charge.

The new universal high frequency battery charger controlled by a microprocessor can be powered with a wide range of single phase voltages from 85VAC to 264VAC 50/60Hz (hence practically universal). Protection against overheating, relay polarity inversion, short circuit and over-current are just some of the new high frequency battery charger standard features.
