Exlar® TTX80, fully integrated actuator
Distributor of the US brand in Italy, Servotecnica announces that the Curtiss-Wright Actuation Group division has planned the launch of the TTX080, the new fully integrated Exlar® drive/motor/actuator.
Using the latest generation GTX base actuator, the TTX080 adds the control and command electronics necessary for stand-alone operation and is therefore ideal as a solution applicable to the hydraulic cylinders of existing systems. The TTX series actuators provide the power, precision and programming possibilities of a servo system minimizing the need for maintenance and the complications associated with hydraulic components. With a continuous force up to 11.9 kN, speeds up to 953 mm / s and stroke lengths from 100 mm to 450 mm, the TTX080 can be used in a wide range of industrial automation applications.
Features of the TTX series include servo, drive and motor integrated into a compact but high power actuator. High-capacity planetary roller screws guarantee a life up to 15 times longer and a significantly higher resistance to recoil than comparable ballscrews. The grease nipple and the removable front bushing with gasket seal greatly facilitate maintenance and lubrication operations, maximizing the life of the actuator. The modular construction of the actuator makes it possible to change the type of assembly and make a replacement on site using the most common tools. The actuators of this series enjoy IP65S environmental protection (min.) And guarantee a smoother and quieter operation compared to the old generation designs.
