Following a 2017 packed with commitments, with the concern’s participation in major global fair events and the hosting of an open house dedicated to the soap sector, ACMA (Coesia Group ) – which designs, builds and markets high-end automation solutions for the consumer goods sector – is already off to a roaring start in 2018, assuming a leadership role at ProSweets, held in late January in Cologne.

In Germany, the enterprise presented two machines for wrapping candies and chocolates, demonstrating its renewed commitment in the confectionery sector, in which it has always been an international leader.
It is in this context that ACMA also intends to consolidate its presence in the North American market, a key region, both in terms of consumption and as a platform for developing new products.

The United States in particular represents the traditional trendsetter in confectionery, in addition to being home to some of the industry’s key players. To demonstrate its commitment to North America, ACMA will also take part in Pack Expo in Chicago, 14 - 17 October.

Spotlight on R&D
2018 will be a year dedicated to research and development, with a focus on increasing the quality of building processes, while continuing to support the digital transformation currently underway. Among ACMA’s stated goals are to harness new technologies in order to provide prompter and faster post-sale assistance and more consistent worldwide coverage.

For greater flexibility
ACMA’s business straddles numerous consumer goods sectors. Whether for packaging chocolates, bakery goods, soaps, tea or other soluble beverages, the Italian operator is able to provide the optimal response.

A common feature of solutions developed by ACMA is extreme flexibility, so that they can be configured in different ways according to need.

The concern’s engineering approach is also characterized by the development of machinery, systems and modules that are easy to use and maintain, featuring a particularly advanced human-machine interface. All this is offered while maintaining the same care in product handling and production of packaging of impeccable quality.
