Multidisciplinary robot

For an important company in the adhesive tape sector, Lancia Srl has created a complete line for packaging and palletizing the product.

The peculiarity of the line consists in the use of an anthropomorphic robot as a palletizer: extremely high performance and multidisciplinary, it is able to manipulate products of different types and shapes, changing only the gripping tool in an automatic and simple way. 

Depending on the programming, the product to be taken can vary from the empty pallet to the interlayers, from the boxes to the reels, so as to reset the format change times and allow the line to reach remarkable speeds, with the possibility of working on several lines simultaneously. 

Finally, it should be emphasized that an efficient vision control system for product quality control has been integrated into the line, capable of analyzing and processing various parameters with the help of cameras, also allowing waste management. 

Obviously the machine complies with the “Industry 4.0” principles, thus allowing users to carry out a completely automated and interconnected production.
