Proofiler 900 DT for inspection of A1 printed sheets

EyeC (Hamburg, Germany) is extending its range of inspection systems for half-size print sample testing with the market launch of the scanner EyeC Proofiler 900 DT.

This solution is capable of checking print samples (leaflets, flexible packaging and printed sheets) in a 915x635 mm size. The Proofiler DT scanner series is used to perform regular machine checks during printing or quality control. The system detects defects rapidly and provides traceable results documented through reports.

Text, graphics, braille, 1D and 2D codes and distance measurements are checked simultaneously in a single process on the same system. The Proofiler DT Series can be equipped with the optional Scan Station module which allows for greater flexibility of individual quality control stages. With the new user interface, scanning is independent of assessment and of the approval process and the two stages can be performed at different times and in different places.
