With quality and safety a predominant feature in the Lombard concern’s output, counting over 60 years experience, Capsulit presides over the pharmaceutical industry closure and accessories market.

Capsulit’s product offer ranges from their original aluminium closures to plastic closures and medical devices. They make all their products inhouse, thanks to the pressmoulding technologies used in both materials and the company’s automated assembly systems.
In particular, the company implemented pressmoulding of closures and the plastic devices starting from the nineties, this in response to market trends, as ever oriented towards the use of plastic, this also covering the pharmaceutical field.
The innovation fielded is incremental: if on the one hand this has led to the creation of new closures and new moulds with more cavities, on the other it is born out of the development of specific projects for customers. To ensure the reliability and efficiency for users, which include numerous sector multinationals as well as many small-to-medium-sized concerns, Capsulit constantly invests in perfecting its own services and production processes.

With this in mind, and in order to guarantee the complete integrity of the products supplied, the company has brought in sophisticated electronic viewing systems: installed on the lines, they enable an accurate, continuous, high-speed control of all pieces that leave their works, rejecting faulty pieces or those that do not respect specific criteria in terms of color, size, writing and brand “upstream”.
In the nineties Capsulit undertook an important certification procedure, gaining ISO 9001 quality-, ISO 14001 environmental compatibility- as well as OHSAS 18001 safety certification; the company’s output also bears the EC brand for medical devices (like for example plastic measuring cups and spoons). The company gained ISO 15378 GMP certification in 2010.

CAPSULIT IN BRIEF Founded by partners Napoleon Rizzardi, Renato Luischi and Ambrose Magni, whose descendants still run the company, Capsulit is now completely focused on the manufacture of capsules and medical accessories since, over the years, it has closed down its production of filling and closing systems that originally seconded what has now become its main product line. The company employs 80 people, and also has asubsidiary in Spain centered on marketing and distribution.
