The possibility of tracking foreign bodies during processing and packaging of food products is fundamental to guaranteeing the product’s safety and quality, preventing contamination.


In response to this need, Ensinger offers the TECAFORM® AH ID blue, specifically dedicated to the production of components destined for food contact.
«Like other ID line materials - Palo Senatore, Engsinger Italia’s Head of semi-processed goods - this acetate resin is made with detectable additives, so that if a component is broken, every fragment can be quickly identified using a standard metal detector, a device which is often already incorporated into the existing line. Furthermore, their blue coloring makes it easy for operators or video cameras to spot, no matter the food product in which the fragment is immersed.

The components of installations and equipment used to produce and package food products that can be that can be substituted with the plastic materials of the “ID” are many, as are the fields of application: from cheese & dairy to meat processing, to the confectionery and baking industries.

All semi-processed goods in the ID line marketed by Ensinger are in compliance with food industry requirements and subject to migration testing as provided for by EU Reg. 10/2011. The raw materials employed are also FDA-compliant.
