It is 1986 when FABO introduces, among the first in Europe, the solvent free acrylic coating in its adhesive tape production process.

Wb technology offers undisputed advantages, first of all the absence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) which are considered harmful to the environment and are more and more often subject to regulations by national laws.

Quality products: mirror of a story
FABO’s early wb production gives birth to nowadays standard packaging adhesive tapes, which are still available in the company’s catalogue since 1986: quality products for performing packing applications.
The natural evolution of wb technology in FABO is the creation of higher performing products, with the development of upper quality products with high tack formulations for the most efficient closure of boxes, also recycled ones.

Answering to market trends and needs, FABO then introduces wb products with an excellent quality price ratio, producing tapes with films in various thicknesses and different adhesive masses.
Nowadays the FABO wb range comprises products with a complex realisation such as the Security Tape (Tamper evident), an innovative product that FABO produces with excellent quality results and that represents the ideal solution for an absolute protection of shipped materials. FABO’s plus lies in its ability of producing internally large volumes with high quality standards without giving up product customization: ad hoc projects are developed in partnership with customers and customization applies on formulas and forms.

Available FABO customizations also feature the Photo Quality Print for a high definition printing result: thanks to its special printing tecnique the tape is no-scratch, good-looking and with a long-lasting print.
