When the plotter doubles its work potential

Zund confirms its orientation towards modularity and flexibility and presents the new Tandem Vacuum System.

Productivity and process optimization reach new levels of efficiency thanks to the system developed by the Swiss group Zund to activate the vacuum on the front or rear of the surface. With the Tandem Vacuum System, hence, the Zund plotter doubles its work potential, offering the user the possibility of operating at the same time on two independent areas.

How and why. Tandem Vacuum System can be implemented on the plotter family G3 and S3 and allows full use of the entire work table to carry out so-called "pendulum" production. In practice this means that while on one side the system proceeds with the cutting and finishing of a sheet, the operator is free to position other materials on the opposite side. The new operation starts up as soon as all operations taking place on one side of the table have been completed. This opportunity is an advantage, in particular, for those who work in small sizes, it enables the optimisation of time and increased productivity. Another plus in view of the optimization process is also the possibility of activating the vacuum only where needed by adjusting it according to the size of the material positioned on the table: a smart way to avoid bothersome loss of suction.
