Growth in small Italian wineries: 3,000 bottles sold in six hours

The launch of an online sales platform by Cantine Rossella, a small winery in the Oltrepò Pavese area that produces around 200,000 bottles a year under traditional local labels, has proved a big success with 3,000 bottles sold in just 6 hours.

The result exceeded all expectations, allowing the company to expand its sales channels and customer portfolio.

“The transition to a digital platform was already in the works but the current difficulties forced us to speed things up a little. After 20 years it was a little like restarting our sales strategies from scratch,” commented sales manager Carlo Vanni.

The company continues to manage all logistics operations internally with its own employees, guaranteeing a personalised delivery service and constant attention to customer care.
