Mauser Packaging expands in Italy

Mauser Packaging Solutions has announced the acquisition of EuroVeneta Fusti Srl (EVF) through the joint venture NCG-Maider. The operation expands the Mauser group’s current portfolio of industrial plastic packaging solutions, steel drums and reconditioning services for IBC (intermediate bulk containers) for the Italian market, a sector in which the Veneto-based company has been operating for 60 years.

The reconditioning activities will be carried out at the Villastellone (TO) site and at the EVF plant in Mira (VE), both equipped with state-of-the-art washing lines for the reconditioning of IBCs and HDPE and steel drums, as well as for HDPE plastic recycling.

Production of IBCs and new plastic packaging will continue at Mauser Packaging’s Grezzago (MI) and Fonzaso (BL) plants.
