Mozambique’s largest agro-industrial unit set to begin operation

The largest agro-industrial unit in Mozambique, a massive chicken breeding and egg-laying unit with a complete value chain attached, is due to open at the end of June.

The complex will employ more than 5,500 people and will be located in Gurue district, Zambezia province.

It represents a US $10 million investment by the Mozambican government and the African Development Bank.
