New entrepreneurship in times of emergency: launch of Homebeer.it

Two students, Tommaso Aguiari and Andrea Longhi, aged respectively 19 and 20, have launched Homebeer.it, the first platform for home deliveries of craft beer in the city of Rome.

“At this difficult time for everyone, we want to help breweries and pubs continue to operate by organising deliveries direct to their customers’ homes,” commented the young entrepreneurs.

The Homebeer.it home delivery service currently collaborates with 16 local breweries and businesses and also promotes small and often little-known family-run breweries.

The delivery service is simple and easy to use. Following geolocation, the user can find the nearest affiliated brewery and can also use the algorithms incorporated into the app to discover the perfect combination of food and drink.
