San Pellegrino sells Beltè

The Sanpellegrino group has signed an agreement to sell the Beltè brand to Refresco Italy (Spumador and Recoaro), a company owned by Dutch beverage multinational Refresco.

The operation is part of Nestlé’s portfolio optimisation strategy aimed at concentrating on the most profitable brands, a policy that the Swiss giant began in 2016 with the sale of Rossana sweets to the Asti-based company Fida and subsequently the Surgela, La Valle Degli Orti and Mare Fresco company division to German firm Frosta.
