Two lines in one

The blister line MB460FAST is the fastest and most flexible blistering machine ever produced by Marchesini. Able to pack 720 blisters per minute, it features innovations of a high technology content.

Firstly, spotlight on the linkage between the blistering and the cartoning machine: the whole unit can in fact be replaced en bloc, thanks to a trolley, in less than 30 minutes.

The line also enables the machine configuration to be change from two to three channels and vice versa an aspect, this, which ensures high production speeds and maximum flexibility.

Among the other winning features of the line: positive transport of the blister, compact size, possibility to place separating wall between the blistering and the cartoning machine; reduced noise, maximum ergonomics, easy cleaning and simplified format change.

AT ACHEMA(Hall 3.1-G3), in a showcase of 500 square meters, the Marchesini Group will exhibit an impressive 17 machines, with leading-edge solutions for all types of products from the world of pharmaceutics.

For liquids, there will be a sterile vial line made up of the washing machine WR24, the tunnel DEPYR601 and the filler Steril; for ampoules, there will be a filling & sealing machine RSF3PL.

Another major attraction will be the filling and capping machine OPTO150 for small vials, designed entirely for ophthalmic products.

The syringe filling machine FSP05 will be displayed, with the new integrated weight control system, as well as the robotic line Unica, which in one single block, integrates the deep draw thermoforming and carton packaging operations of the trays. It will indeed be on Unica that Romeo, the wireless controller developed by Marchesini, can be seen at work, making the size change and line control and management processes much simpler and straightforward.

For solids, as well as the blister line MB460FAST, Marchesini will be previewing the brand new Valida unit, a counting machine equipped with a new patented counting and control system that measures the mass of tablets and capsules.

Among the stand-alone machines is the Stickpack filler and sealer MSP560 (for packaging powder products with the new multi-lanes screw dosing unit) and the rotary labelling machine RE202 ensuring high production output.

To conclude, there will be a presentation of the first end-of-line solutions resulting from the recent (and promising) partnership between PRB and Marchesini: the new Bestpocket case packer and the Ministratus palletizer.
