The advantages of an all-in-one solution

High efficiency for sheet-fed applications. The new KPS SX+ cold transfer product is a real all-rounder for sheet-fed applications. Thanks to its flexible application, it gives complete design freedom, achieving technically perfect results and avoiding the need to use different products for different finishes.

Printing companies can therefore benefit from the new Kurz proposal along the entire value chain, starting from inventory optimization - thanks to the use of a single product - to the reduction of installation times and increased productivity.

In relation to adhesives and inks, the KPS SX+ is suitable for both conventional and UV systems, guaranteeing the same performance in both full as well as fine detail printing. The result is also perfect when printing halftones, solid and uniform backgrounds as well as graphics with a gradient effect, as well as allowing excellent and brilliant overprinting.

Exclusive quality, also food grade. Thanks to its characteristics, KPS SX+ can be used on different substrates: recycled or specialty cardboard, thin materials, almost any type of packaging board, also food grade, since it does not affect the automatic sorting process, nor the packaging deinkability or composting process.

In particular, the new KPS SX+ complies with the SQTS certificate for food contact applications.

In addition to the many alternatives offered, the KPS SX+ is easy to handle and can be processed with less glue consumption (which in fact is reduced by 10-20% depending on the substrate) and pressure, depending on the substrate and the design or graphics.

Optimized processes. The product developed by Kurz guarantees excellent performance even with indexing systems (sheet recovery), since the press rollers that come into contact with the inner part of the sheet are cleaner the same as the gummed sheets.

The KPS SX+ also places no limits on printing speed, entailing up to 18,000 sheets per hour without any problems.

Tape test results are also well above average, making this new type of cold foil effect extremely competitive from an economic point of view.
