Digitalization and sustainability at the mechatronics forum

450 participants joined the 2022 edition of the Mechatronics Forum (October 4), sponsored by ANIE and organized by Messe Frankfurt Italia in Padua, in the Veneto district, which has always been a national reference point for automation and industry.

The productive ecosystem of companies, innovative start-ups and manufacturing realities with a long tradition behind them was photographed by the stories of ITS Mechatronic Veneto, Competence Center SMACT and Politecnico di Milano, which presented research based on the mapping of mechatronic skills in the northeast carried out by Professor Giambattista Gruosso of the Department of Electronics Information and Bioengineering, available online at the Forum website.

During the event, Sabina Cristini, president of ANIE Automazione’s Mechatronics Group, presented the White Paper “Robots Integrated in Automated Systems,” produced in collaboration with SIRI with the aim of offering industry professionals a summary of the evolutions and advances related to industrial robotics and its implementations.

The paper, available on ANIE Automazione’s website, presents the current scenario and future goals of robotics applications with a series of case histories dedicated to Mechatronics Group companies and robotic solutions integrated in automated systems in different application scenarios.
