White paper for the food safety of milk and yogurt
Ishida Europe (UK) has developed a White Paper to help dairy processors meet food quality and safety standards, safeguarding brand integrity.
The precautions to be taken concern in particular the contamination by foreign bodies, which can occur during the production process and in the packaging phase, perhaps with the addition of non-dairy ingredients or due to carelessness of the workers.
The white paper, entitled Dairy Production: Eliminating Foreign Body Contamination and Enabling Brand Integrity, explains the importance of online protection as part of an effective HACCP-based food safety management system. The paper, which can be downloaded from the Ishida website, analyses the advantages of metal detection and X-ray inspection technologies, examining their application in two key areas: cheese and yogurt.
The guidelines also offer an exhaustive overview of the problems and analyse the possible solutions, outlining the measures that the converters should take. In addition to the theoretical part, Ishida Europe has also produced a series of informative videos.
