GTX080 Actuator: more fluid and silent operation
Servotecnica announces that its represented company Exlar® has launched the new generation GTX080 integrated motor/actuator, whose ultramodern design guarantees remarkably improved performance compared to the previous model: the integration of the Curtiss-Wright patented “reverse” roller screw technology, high power density and compact form factor make the GTX080 the ideal alternative to hydraulic cylinders.
The GTX Series actuators provide the power, the precision and the possibility of programming a servo system, minimizing the need for maintenance and the complications related to hydraulic components. With a continuous force of up to 5680 N, speeds up to 4200 rpm and stroke lengths from 100 mm to 450 mm, the GTX080 can find space in a wide range of industrial automation applications.
The features of the GTX series include high capacity planetary roller screws with up to 15 times longer life and significantly higher kickback resistance than comparable ball screws.
These actuators provide IP65S environmental protection (min.) and integrate perfectly with most major motion control architectures. The removable front seal gasket considerably facilitates assembly maintenance and lubrication, maximizing durability of life of the actuator. Thanks to the modular design, it is also possible to easily reconfigure the type of assembly in the machine, adding the standard flange most suited to the application needs. This means being able to replace or, if necessary, maintain the unit mounted in the machine with extreme simplicity and with the most common tools.
