The packaging ecosystem in the Ville Lumiere

Respecting the expectations of the organizers of Comexposium, from 26 to 29 November 2018 All4Pack Paris brought together 79,000 operators, including 1,350 exhibitors.

The presence of international visitors in the first two days (about 35%, of which 21% from Africa), for a total of 60 countries represented and some foreign delegations (Cuba, Germany, Japan, Israel, Taiwan, Turkey ...). The fair proved to be a good point of observation on the emerging issues of the packaging market: regulatory and environmental requirements, the omnichannel BtC trade and BtB, Industry 4.0. And it has also been a good business platform, with 1,100 business meetings organized by the show between users and exhibitors (500 appointments in 2016), who have favored commercial exchanges and concrete investment projects.

Contents in the limelight. The dynamism of the recent edition of the French event was guaranteed by the different moments that marked the time at the fair: the debates that took place during the 25 thematic conferences (which hosted 80 speakers), the meeting with the 16 start-ups gathered in the Startups Lab space, the testimonies of creativity offered by the Innovation Awards, the selection SIAL Innovation or De Gouden Noot, the winners of the European Pack the Future competition dedicated to plastic and flexible packaging, all concentrated in the Creative Lounge area.
Worth of note, the success of the 22nd edition of the PETnology European Conference, which was held for the first time in Paris and which, remarking the focus on polyethylene terephthalate, concentrated on the circular and sustainable economy, ecodesign, technical developments of thermoforming and prestretch, involving suppliers of raw materials and recycling companies going by way of packaging manufacturers and users.
