First woman in over 60 years of history of the Institute to take on the office of president, she was elected by acclamation by the members, in their meeting at the Palazzo Parigi in Milan on May 11th for the annual assembly.

First woman in over 60 years of history of the Institute to take on the office of president, she was elected by acclamation by the members, in their meeting at the Palazzo Parigi in Milan on May 11th for the annual assembly.
The Piacenza based entrepreneur, an expression of the Lombard small-medium business, has been actively collaborating with the Istituto, of which she has been Vice President for the past 4 years, as well as having covered other positions in Assografici-Giflex and Confapi Picenza.
Clear the guidelines of her program, in continuity with Antonio Feola’s previous Presidency. With the aim of increasing the authoritativeness of the Istituto Italiano Imballaggio and of making it more and more proactive in particular on the issues of sustainability and innovation, her intent is to enhance the communication of the positive values of packaging and develop the technical activity in favor of members. In this sense, the project of also involving the top management of the associated companies in a wide-ranging initiative was decisive.
In this adventure Anna Paola Cavanna has proposed Michele Amigoni (Global Packaging Director of Barilla) and Ciro Sinagra (R&D and Marketing Manager of Laminazione Sottile) as her Vice Presidents, obtaining the unanimous approval of the assembly.
