For a “no limits” print

Foil for hot printing with unprecedented hues in a catalogue that becomes a manifesto of trends and a new type of cold foil: at Packaging Première 2018 Luxoro presented the latest finishing solutions developed by the Kurz Design Team, capable of making products and brands unique.

Competence and passion, hence are reflected in the rich proposal of value-added supports that, over time, have made Kurz a benchmark in the foil market. The latest, precious new features have been on display at the second edition of Packaging Première in Milan.
 
A world in 10 colors
Ten new color shades for hot foil are the result of the work of the Kurz Design Team, which every year researches, studies and gathers current trends, attitudes and preferences.
Collected in Pollock 2, the original catalogue inspired by the action painting of the American artist, they show the potential of the materials in each of their print expressions (photo 1).
Each of the ten colors represents ideas and concepts, a sort of manifesto of our era, a cry for individuality at the time of mass sharing: dedicated to pure authenticity and hyper individualism, these colors intercept and anticipate many needs, and might appear excessive or elegant as befits the occasion, though anyhow unique.
 
The record of cold printing
Compared to previous versions, the new quality cold foil KPS - OP 093 brings significant improvements to the release capacity and, consequently, better coloring and coverage on printing applications, ensuring perfect results with all types of cold printing devices (photos 2 and 3). Highly versatile foil, ensures excellent results both with subtle and refined designs and with more daring and less detailed graphics: the lower use of primers (up to 30% less than the market average) enables unprecedented and inimitable visual effects to be obtained.
A high performance product, the KPS - OP 093 renders an extraordinary shine, facilitates immediate drying both with conventional and UV process, as well as enabling the tape test to be carried out immediately after printing and without waiting. Moreover, even more than in the past, it enables the reproduction of an innumerable amount of colors, as well as infinite shades and opacities, featuring maximum customization and with a quality that is unrivaled in the cold printing sector.
