A new chapter on cities: Berlin Lines
Pixartprinting content creation continues, this time touching down in Berlin to invite communications and print specialists to discover the German capital’s underground spaces.
Berlin Lines is a storytelling project focused on the Berlin subway system and the features that make its U-Bahn stations unique, providing a new source of inspiration for professionals in the field. The initiative recounts 20 stories, each dedicated to one of the city’s metro stops, in which the protagonists are the locals that frequent them. Cult topics for graphic artists and creatives are explored through exclusive interviews and 40 snapshots by German lifestyle photographer Sebastian Spasic. The project takes an in-depth look at the defining typographies and color schemes of each station as it is revealed why it was decided to make each portrait in a particular station. The resulting images show the powerful resemblances between an individual and their surroundings, provoking an empathy that further underlines the originality of this storytelling project.
Berlin Lines is the product of a partnership between the Veneto-based web2printer and expert contributors, and this new journey can also be found in Container, a digital space that makes it possible to easily access, share and disseminate information through the homepage pixartprinting.it.
