The new Supcoat range
Super Film continues to grow as a leading producer of flexible packaging, label and technical films, offering one of the widest product ranges in the field. The last development on the Supcoat film range.
With a long-term focus on innovation, Super Film has been consistently and regularly investing in machinery and equipment. To further increase the product and service range Super Film has invested in the second coating line that will come into operation in 2015.
The new coater is a Tandem Coating Machine from Kroenert, having max. web width 2.500 mm and production speed up to 500 m/min. It consists in 3 coating stations, for primer and coating, 2 flotation dryers (10 and 20 mts long respectively).
It is equipped with the latest technology such as an up-to-date pressure chamber doctor blade to ensure upmost precision in the distribution of the compound and a wide variance for different compound viscosities, and a line scan camera system for defect detection.
Focus on products. The new coater is able to coat BOPP film from 12 to 80 mic and BOPET film from 12 to 75 mic and will be utilized for the production of peelable and peelable antifog lidding films, PVDC, PVOH, siliconized and acrylic coated BOPP and BOPET films as well as new grades for digital print. All the new grades will be identified by our commercial code SUPCOAT.
Some of these grades are already available being produced in the existing coating line: SUPCOAT BT 7010/7011 MPC (seelable and peelable PET) and SUPCOAT BT 7010/7011 MAC (seelable and peelable antifog PET), both available as 21 and 25 micron; SUPCOAT 7132 CLC (white opaque cavitated BOPP for C&S and wet-glue patch labeling).
