The perfect torque

The cyber motor and motion control divisions of the WITTENSTEIN Group have developed together a solution that integrates the innovative cyber® dynamic line of brushless micro-motors and the new compact simco drives, a perfect pair for systems in applications where high process and positioning standards are required.

cyber® dynamic line and simco drive sum up the WITTENSTEIN philosophy: integrate security, intelligence and functionality to optimize resources, creating the trends of tomorrow today. Let's look at the features in detail.
• cyber® dynamic line is a line of mini servo brushless three-phase sinusoidal servomotors for applications between 25 and 335 watts. Available in four sizes (with a diameter of 17, 22, 32 and 40 mm) have the bodywork in stainless steel, absolute 12 Bit encoder and BISS interface, which also enables their use as Resolvers. These are extremely controllable, durable and quiet motors usable in applications with high acceleration or featuring short journeys with frequent speed changes, as for example in pick&place operations. Also suitable as direct drives they have a design that facilitates insertion in tight spaces and simplifies cleaning.

For their excellent torque-to-weight ratio they are also perfect in less conventional areas as in mobile, battery powered devices, where they improve the durability of operating cycles before recharging, increasing available time.
Another strongpoint of the series is the constant high torque that enables a reduction of the cable cross-sections, exploiting a more compact drive, with savings on space, weight and costs.

• The simco drives have been designed for AC servo motors with sinusoidal commutation up to 500W  continuously and short peaks up to 1kW. They are ideal for stand-alone applications with direct mounting of the drive near the actuator. Protection class IP 65, low bulk, halved wiring, easy and intuitive commissioning, various communication interfaces supported just some of the prominent features.
Equipped with high-definition current adjustment (up to 16 bits), they enable an accurate management of the torque and ensure high dynamics in supplying current.
The graphic user interface guides the user in an intuitive way in providing service, in diagnosis and assistance. The routine diagnosis and recording of events takes place in real time, optimizing the monitoring of the axis and maintenance operations without timewasting.
