Increasingly the company's technical skills are used to build complete systems: this is by now for Cama a "core business" established in various food, as well as for over a year, also non-food sectors. The company continues to strengthen its mechanical and electronic engineering R&D department, not omitting to increase and diversify "its high added value" services it offers to its customers. Company marketing manager Annalisa Bellante points out: «For years now we have been constantly working on the famous "3M" or that is "Man, Machine and Method"- to aim to improve our lines according to TPM - Total Productive Maintenance - criteria».

How it started. It all started with a project aimed to develop and improve Cama’s product and service offer. The company drew on its experience in the field of robotics and packaging machines to successfully convert the entire range of products, going from mainly mechanical machines  to standard electronic modules assembled within transparent structures. This evolution is not limited to providing specific answers to the set objectives of the various projects, but improves the production flexibility of facilities (as in the case of automatic format change), reducing the need for maintenance and ensuring a correct governance of the same, optimizing the work of the operators thanks to userfriendly systems and special facilitated training sessions.
 
Targeted systems. Emblematic of Cama’s skills and expertise in the bakery and confectionary industry is, for example, the delivery of a high-speed line, consisting of two delta Triaflex robots, a cartoning and a display-box packing machine. The products, arriving from a flowpack machine at a speed of 700 pieces per minute are picked up and loaded at high speed with a "line tracking" system in the casepacking machine. The packaging solution enables extremely delicate handling of the product, guaranteeing the absolute integrity of the chocolate coating.
Subsequently the flowpacks are packed in cartons and after that display cases with different configurations. Noteable Cama’s technical skills in handling three different packaging technologies, going from robotics (top loading), onto cartoning (side loading) and ending with casepacking prior to palletizing. A single solution that provides the final customer with several advantages.
