2018: another record year for RadiciGroup

RadiciGroup, a Bergamo, Italy-based company specialising in the chemicals, technopolymers and synthetic fibres business, posted a record €1.211 billion revenue in 2018 (+6%).

EBITDA and net profit saw double-digit growth to €185 million (+16%) and €97 million (+19%), respectively, while investments totalled €50 million with a similar figure due to be spent in 2019.

The group’s goals include improving market position and establishing a well-balanced presence across different geographical regions so as to be less dependent on the performance of individual markets.

Due to uncertainties caused by the issue of China-USA tariffs and geopolitical instability, the company saw a fall in volumes in the first half of 2019 although its margins remained relatively stable.

RadiciGroup has 3,100 employees and a network of production facilities and sales branches throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia.
