Pharmaceutical packaging: Renografica acquires Tiposervice
An agreement for the transfer of the majority of shares of Tiposervice (Calenzano-FI) to the Bologna-based paper converting company Renografica, led by the Baccolini family, was signed on 10 June.
The operation will create a new €15 million group serving the pharmaceutical industry which combines Renografica’s paper products with the leaflets produced by Tiposervice.
Alongside its facilities in Bologna and Valjevo, Renografica will also focus on the Calenzano site where it intends to invest in modernising the facility and production plant so as to fully exploit its potential.
Founded in the 1960s, the Bologna-based company now specialises in the production of paper packaging for pharmaceutical products and invests continuously in R&D and service improvement.
Its key strength in this sector is the “safe carton” concept based on a production and control process that guarantees certified and repeatable high-quality packaging compliant with the strict safety requirements of the healthcare sector.
