Pregis restructures its European operations

Pregis LLC (Illinois), a provider of innovative protective packaging materials, equipment systems and surface protection, has restructured its business operations in Europe where it operates through Pregis Ltd.

The recently formed company brings together Easypack, a company acquired in 2016 which offers an on-demand paper packaging portfolio, and FP International, which was acquired in 2018 and has a complete on-demand air systems offering including the loose-fill brand Flo-Pak^®.

The European entity has three manufacturing locations in Stevenage, UK (paper and equipment), Heerlen, the Netherlands (film and foam) and Herbrechtingen, Germany (foam), as well as two warehouse locations in France and Germany.

The company is also investing in new product development and infrastructure to support continued growth in key end user segments, including e-commerce.

Recent examples include new paper converting capabilities in the UK and a new starch-based, loose-fill extruder in the Netherlands.
