Cold seal register: new features
Alongside the proven Visionlab 100 defect controller, Visionlab proposes two new systems dedicated to the register control for cold seal.
The first, called Visionlab Macs, thanks to perfectly aligned and synchronised two cameras is able to detect the characteristic details of the printed item and of the seal, and to compare them by accurately measuring the longitudinal and transverse deviation from the nominal values.
Furthermore, with this system the register can be corrected directly, by acting on the system drive to bring the values within the tolerances set or report the product to be rejected. The measurements are processed in the form of deviation graphs and the relative longitudinal and transverse images, displayed on a special monitor, enable the operator to assess the production and make any necessary corrections.
The second proposed solution is called Visionlab Mark CS, and is based on point-to-point contrast sensors. It only measures the longitudinal deviation but with a higher speed and accuracy. This system fields the same features as the previous one at a lower cost.
