"Sustainable" recovery
Dec Impianti SpA (solvent recovery systems using activated carbon) proposes a process of recovery in three main phases: adsorption on beds of activated carbon; desorption through the use of inert gas; distillation of the solvent.
The solvent-laden air from the production is filtered and sent to the adsorbers; at this stage the activated carbon retains the solvent and releases the purified air into the atmosphere.
After reaching the saturation of the activated carbon, the system automatically starts the regeneration phase using an inert gas (nitrogen) in the exclusive regeneration module DEC.RSX™. This enables the complete recovery of the mixture of dehydrated solvent that will be sent to the distillation system to be purified and, hence, separated.
The system and technology provided by Dec Impianti offer many advantages in terms of economy and environmental protection, allowing you to recover solvents for reuse in production with a purity equal to or even superior to the one purchased with a cost equal to a fraction of the purchasing cost. The amount of solvent recovered not only meets the production needs, but in some cases, exceeds the same, generating value.
Overall, the solutions proposed by the Passirana Rho (MI) based company have a high efficiency (average value ≥ 97 ÷ 99.9%), reduced operating costs and eco-compatibility across the board because they do not produce polluted water discharges.
