1 fair, 2 venues… plus Cosmopack Asia’s new brand

Organized by Cosmoprof Asia Ltd, a joint venture between BolognaFiere and UBM Asia Ltd, Cosmoprof Asia 2017 will take place in November with a double-event that puts the Cosmopack brand front and center.

On 15-17 November, manufacturers of finished products in every beauty sector will gather at Hong Kong’s Convention & Exhibition Centre, which will be hosting Discover Trends, an area dedicated to trends in the beauty market, featuring spaces dedicated to home devices, baby care products and halal certification. Sustainability and organic beauty will be the stars of “Natural & Organic”, while the world of wellness centers will be the focus of the zone dedicated to beauty professionals.

In 2016, the event logged record attendance: 76,818 visitors hailing from 129 different countries (+21% compared to the previous year); 2,698 exhibitors from 49 countries (+7.7% compared to 2015) and 24 country pavilions occupied an exhibition area of 98,000 sq m.

COSMOPACK ASIA: WHAT'S NEW FOR 2017
For the 22nd edition of the major Asian event, the spotlight shines on the supply chain at Cosmoprof Asia ’s AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), scheduled for 14-16 November, an event entirely dedicated to the cosmetic processing and packaging supply chain.

«Riding the success of the Cosmopack brand in Italy, with Cosmopack Asia we wanted to further strengthen the brand identity of the supply chain by creating new business opportunities for our customers» states Enrico Zannini, president of Cosmoprof Worldwide.

The fair will host every area of the beauty industry, from raw materials and ingredients to contract manufacturing and private label, including machinery and primary & secondary packaging, offering a space developed ad hoc for R&D, product development and marketing professionals.

Decorative packaging, for its part, will be the star of the Print & Label area, another addition to this year’s edition. In order to facilitate business meetings with consumer goods brands in attendance at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, Cosmopack Asia will open one day earlier, on 14 November. Services connecting the two events will also be bolstered.

Marketing initiatives will be organized ad hoc to give the new concepts, innovative designs and the latest technological innovations presented by industry operators their due prominence.
Not to miss, on this point, is the Powder Factory, an installation displaying the powder manufacturing process, developed in collaboration with leading international operators.
