ADF & PCD 2017: the new advances

Aerosol technologies and packaging of beauty products: insights and meetings, two dedicated contests, and other surprises are expected in Paris on 18 and 19 January 2017, at Porte de Versailles - Hall 6.

NY2016_BANNIERE_700x728.pngOver the past 15 years the conference exhibitions designated by Oriex (in 2001 the Packaging of Cosmetic Perfume & Design - PCD and Aerosol & Dispensing Forum 2006 -
ADF) have seen an increase in the range of products, authoritativeness and participation, while not losing " that family atmosphere" that everyone appreciates, because it makes the exchange of information and experience simpler and nicer, all to the benefit of good business.

Even in the aftermath of the recent change of ownership in Easyfairs Oriex, the organizers have not betrayed the distinctive character of a concrete format appreciated by the segment’s VIPs: two days, full conferences designed in collaboration with the companies, and a display area with small stands, easy and fast to visit.

The last edition of ADF & PCD gave some significant figures: +20% of global presence, with 420 exhibitors and over 6,500 trade visitors from 70 countries, mostly international experts, suppliers and key figures of the companies that operate in the sector.

After moving the date forward to January, a change of venue of the Parisian event was also decided: in the wake of a waiting list of dozens of companies, assessed as suitable for in terms of quality and innovation capacity but in fact excluded by the “sold out” of the last edition, The Paris Packaging Innovation Hub hence moves into more spacious and rational exhibition center at the Porte de Versailles - Hall 6, well connected to the Paris metropolitan transport network.

REVIEW OF CONTENTS AND TWO AWARDS
As always feather in the cap of the Paris event the PCD conference focused on the future vision in terms of the beauty packaging (for the detailed program please consult the dedicated website).

The ADF experts' meeting will also help to draw a map of the trends and futuristic technologies related to aerosol and dispensing systems (again see the program published on the website). In particular we cite the special MCB  Metal Can & Bottle Packaging Forum session, with its focus on metal packaging

Lastly, a reminder that enrolment in the ADF & PCD Awards is open up to November 7: an effective opportunity to enhance products and technologies, the result of positive partnerships and capable of responding to marketing needs, with the awards acting as a sounding board to the most innovative, curious and complex solutions.
