U.S.-based Packsize acquires Panotec
Packsize (USA), one of the world's leading providers of sustainable packaging automation solutions, has signed an agreement to acquire the packaging business of Panotec, the Italian company specializing in the development and manufacture of automatic and semi-automatic systems for the production of right-sized packaging.
The transaction will enable Packsize to expand its technology portfolio and strengthen the Group's international presence, which now spans more than 50 countries across North America, Europe and other strategic markets.
This acquisition is fully aligned with our growth strategy and strengthens our ability to provide customers with greater flexibility and a broader range of solutions to optimize their packaging operations - said Brian Reinhart, Chief Revenue Officer of Packsize - It also brings together two organizations that share the same vision for the future of packaging automation.
The acquisition is part of the Group's ongoing expansion strategy. In April 2025, Packsize completed the acquisition of Sparck Technologies, further enhancing its portfolio with box-last systems and automated solutions for the production of right-sized boxes, trays and lids.
The addition of Panotec further strengthens our technological capabilities and our ability to meet the evolving needs of the market - commented Kellen Frey, Chief Operating Officer of Packsize. By combining expertise, technology and manufacturing capabilities, we will be able to provide even stronger support to our customers worldwide while continuing to invest in quality, service and innovation.
