Automatica - Munich, 3rd – 6th June 2014

What with its 31,000 visitors from over 100 countries, with its 2012 edition Automatica already consolidated its key role as international automation sector rendezvous and main world robotics show.

This year, over a +3% of exhibition surface and the actual presence (on the increase) of 740 exhibitors from 40 countries the show, born out of the marriage between Monaco Fiere and the German VDMA, will field other pluspoints, without obviously losing sight of the main objective of offering industrial solutions capable of optimising production in all segments.
Benefitting from a favourable economic situation (at least in Germany) Automatica will enjoy the concurrence of events the calibre of Intersolar Europe and Maintain (the former dedicated to solar, energy and electricity technology, the latter to industrial maintenance): a single ticket will enable free access to all three shows, thus optimising times and modes of visit.

Brand and web for service robotics. From 2014 Automatica will also gain a special exhibition area dedicated to professional service robots (mobile platforms, cleaning, production assistance, surveillance, inspection and maintenance, factory logistics), a segment that has indeed been present for some time at the event through special shows. This is a sector where a growing number of producers and products are now exiting the “embryonic” phase to enter into that of industrialisation and commercial success. The German fair thus intends to speedily intercept this evolution and give full support to the companies in the segment. for further information: www.automatica-servicerobotics.com.

Collateral program. Alongside a special space reserved for the automation and robotics solutions in the production of composite fibre materials (Automated Composites Production), the agenda includes a host of other themes and opportunities: Automatica Forum, the VDMA contribution “Blue Competence” on sustainability and energy saving, an international symposium on Robotics, the possibility of exchanges on subjects that will influence the coming future, from Industry 4.0 (IT revolution in the factory, with software for production connectivity ), to the flexibility gained with the use of robot-, assembly and vision systems in the era of diversification, professional service robotics as a business factor.
